Teams #119 and #120 - Towson and Northern Iowa

On Saturday, December 17th, 2022, I saw my 119th and 120th Division One College Basketball teams. On this occasion, I saw the Towson Tigers take on the Northern Iowa Panthers.  Towson is the 2nd team that I have seen out of the CAA. Towson has a 8-3 record on the year. They most recently played Navy and they lost by a score of 71-69 in OT. The leading scorer for the Tigers is Nicolas Timberlake he is averaging 16 PPG. Northern Iowa is the 4th team out of the Missouri Valley that I have seen. Northern Iowa has a 3-7 record on the year. They most recently played South Florida and they lost 72-69. The leading scorer for the Panthers is Bowen Born and he is averaging 19 PPG. Born's 19 PPG is good for 45th in the country.

Writing this one a little late. Back and forth game. Towson lead at half 33-31. The second half however was all Northern Iowa. Bowen Born had 16 second half points to give him 27 total for the game. Northern Iowa would put up 52 points in the second half. The Panthers would go onto win 83-66.
